Licensed Funeral Director
In addition to being a Licensed Funeral Director, Rick is also a Certified Funeral Service Practioner (CFSP), a designation that recognizes funeral service professionals who complete specified academic and professional programs.He attended the University of North Dakota and North DakotaStateUniversity, graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1980, and has been a co-owner of Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home since 1981.
Rick has lived in Cooperstown since 1970.He and his wife, Tammy, who is Business Manager for GriggsCountyCentralSchool District, have three daughters, Katie, Kelcey, and Abbey.Rick serves as Secretary for the Cooperstown Fire Department and is the Girl's Golf Coach for GCCHS.He enjoys fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Glen Plaisted
Licensed Funeral Director/Funeral Assistant
Glen has been with the funeral home since July of 1959, when he purchased E.E. Boe's interest in the funeral home.In 1974, Glen purchased the remaining interest, becoming the sole owner.Glen officially retired in 1981, but remains active as a funeral assistant.
He and his wife, Dolores, live in Cooperstown and have four children and seven grandchildren.
Miki Tanner-Bendickson
Office Manager
Miki joined Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home as office manager in 2002.She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Elementary Education from JamestownCollege in 1979.Her husband, Bob, is Service Manager for Cooper Implement and is a former Fire Chief of Cooperstown Fire Department.In her personal time, Miki is an avid reader, enjoys being a horseshoe player, tends to her houseplants, serves as a volleyball linesjudge, was active in the local Girl Scout organization for 12 years, and is a former softball player.She and her husband live in Cooperstown and are "parents" to two cats.

Jim has been involved at the funeral home as a funeral assistant since 1993.He is a Veteran and retired postmaster.Irene has been involved with Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home since 2002.Previous to joining the funeral home, she was the Outreach Worker for Griggs County Senior Citizens for twelve years and brings a wealth of experience in working with bereaved families.Irene and Jim live in Cooperstown, and have five children and ten grandchildren.

Jerry joined Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in 1998.He is a Veteran and retired ASCS Director.Jerry and his wife, Ina, live in Cooperstown, and have three grown children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Nancy Paintner
Maintenance and Grounds Support Staff
Nancy has been involved with the funeral home for over twenty-five years.Aside from helping out at the funeral home during the summer, she is a teacher at Griggs County Central Schools and she and her husband, Paul, own and operate the Pizza Ranch in Cooperstown.They live in Cooperstown and have three children.
