GARY NEIL THERKELSEN Gary Neil Therkelsen 50, San Diego, CA formally Cooperstown, ND, passed away Tues. Sept. 6, 2011 in his home in San Diego, CA. Gary Neil Therkelsen, was born Nov.26, 1960 to Richard & Marcella (Willows) Therkelsen. He served in the Navy from January 1980 to January 1984. After service duty he stayed in San Diego working in construction as a backhoe operator most of his adult life. He loved to fish in his free time, and was under the belief that the Vikings RULED! He is survived by his mother, Marcella, brothers & sisters, Gene Therkelsen, Alice (Myron) Flaagan, Janice Therkelsen, Jeanette (Dean) Myers, and Ron (Pam) Therkelsen. Nieces & nephews; Shelly Flaagan, Jason (Wendy) Therkelsen, Colleen (Kevin) Elsen, Thomas (Megan) Therkelsen, Randy (Missy) Myers. Great nieces & nephews, Chase Therkelsen, Tevin Flaagan, Toby Whelan, Maezy Myers, Shawn Hepola, Noah & Isaac Therkelsen, & Ella Myers. Aunts & Uncles; Ray & Elaine Willows, & Maxine Willows along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Richard. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:30 am in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND.
