BERTHA LUNDSTROM

BERTHA V. LUNDSTROM Bertha V. Lundstrom was called home on May 6th 2013 at the age of 96. Bertha was born on August 17, 1916 in Calvin, North Dakota. Her parents were Ole and Emma Larson. She was confirmed at West Prairie Lutheran Church in 1930. On June 12, 1941 she married Clifford Lundstrom in Cooperstown, North Dakota. Their only child Duane was born on April 30,1942. She raised her family on a farmstead south of Finley, North Dakota. In 1983, after retiring from farming, she and Clifford moved off the farmstead and to their home in Cooperstown, and spent plenty of time wintering in Arizona and of course fishing at the lake. Bertha and Clifford were happy to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 1991, in good health, with family and friends at their beloved Hofva Church. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Clifford, her son Duane, and her sister Margaret Sondreal. She is survived by her grandchildren Todd, Vicki, Misti, Sharon, and Sara, along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Interment will be in the Hofva Cemetery, rural Luverne, ND Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 4:00 pm.
