BRADLEY LEE SKJERET

BRADLEY L. SKJERET Bradley Lee Skjeret, 52, Hannaford, ND died Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Sanford Palliative Care Unit in Fargo, ND after a short battle of cancer. Brad was born May 5, 1961 in Valley City, ND the son of Alfred and Fern (Lausch) Skjeret. He grew up on a farm near Dazey, ND. He attended school at North Central of Barnes. After high school Brad went to work for farmers, Lee Haugen and Uncle Bud Lausch. He later went on to trucking for Triebold Trucking out of Oriska, ND. Brad had a passion for trucking and purchased his own, Skjeret Trucking. He married Marlene Stockeland in 1982. He remained in the rural Dazey area for most of his life. Brad enjoyed being near his two sons and his most recent 1st granddaughter, Macy. He also enjoyed spending time with friends. He is survived by his mother, Fern, Walum, ND; sons, Casey (Steph), Jessie, both of Hannaford, ND; sisters, Vickie (Greg) Mueller, Dazey, ND, Linda (Del Trpuc) Hollinshead, Kathryn, ND; brother, Rod (Denise) Skjeret, Jamestown, ND and granddaughter, Macy Lee Skjeret. Brad was preceded in death by his father, Alfred; infant brother, Gregory; grandparents, Alfred and Helen Skjeret and Ernest and Dorothy Lausch. Funeral services will be Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:30 am in St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Walum, ND. Visitation will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5:00 till 7:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be Thursday at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Olaf Cemetery, Walum, ND.
