CINDY L. MARCUSON

CINDY L. MARCUSON Cindy L. Marcuson, 65, Cooperstown, ND died Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo, ND. Cindy Lou was born October 24, 1949 in Breckenridge, MN the daughter of Michael and Lucille (Allen) Keidel. She grew up in Wahpeton, ND where she graduated from high school. She attended Fergus Falls School of Beauty Culture where she received her cosmetologist license. Cindy owned and worked at a restaurant in Lidgerwood, she worked for Forman Multifood and as a bartender. She married Louie Gaukler June 15, 1968, the couple made the home on a farm near Cayuga, ND. The couple had two children, Mike and Lisa. She married Don Marcuson June 13, 1997, the couple resided in Geneseo, ND until July of 2013. Cindy’s seven grandchildren were a source of pride and satisfaction for her. She relished every minute of sports, concerts, plays or other events her babies were involved in. As she gracefully aged her love of church and Jesus encapsulated her life in a spectacular ways. She was especially proud of the bible studies she was a part of at Zion Church. Cindy had a love of puzzles of all kinds. She often spent a great part of her day working on the Sunday crossword only to fall prey to the frustration involved in the enormity of the puzzle. She enjoyed lately playing games on her I-Pad and socializing on social media. Face book was a source of connecting with those she was no longer near. Cindy loved a good time like everyone does. Her days in the Lidgerwood bowling league, Lidgerwood ambulance board and the American Axillary were days that will be remembered by those involved. Many friends were made in these days for Cindy. And like everyone, Cindy liked to tip a few back with family and friends. She was always the life of party and always lived life with great zest. She is survived by her children; Mike (Missy) Gaukler and their three daughters, Kelsey, Hannah and Morgan, Hankinson, ND; Lisa (Jeff) Ringstad and their four sons, Billy, Hunter, Alex and Jonah, Cooperstown, ND; step son, Larry (Heather) Richamon, Wonewoc, WI; sisters, Shirley (Gerald) Gast, St. Cloud, MN, Nancy J. Keidel, Wahpeton, ND. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Lucille Keidel, husband, Don Marcuson, sisters, Marilyn Peterson, Dorothy Hoefs and brother, Allen Keidel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Zion Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2015 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be Monday at 7:00 in the Funeral Home.
