ANNA MAE ERICKSON Anna Mae Erickson, 85, Cooperstown, ND passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in the Pioneer Care Nursing Home in Fergus Falls, MN. Anna Mae was born October 10, 1929 in Valley City, ND, the daughter of Oscar and Marie (Mickelson)) Bjerke. She grew up and attended school in Oriska and Valley City and graduated from Finley High School. She married John Edward Erickson May 28, 1948 in Valley City, ND. The couple farmed east of Cooperstown, ND until 1959 when they moved into town. Anna Mae worked at the Farmer’s Oil Co., Cooperstown Public Library, Griggs County Auditor’s office and the Griggs County Telephone office. She was as active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Anna Mae will be remembered for her baking, cooking and sewing. She made many beautiful quilts that are cherished by family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Larry) Wonder, Irvine, CA; son Dennis (Deb), Underwood, MN; three grandchildren, Tim Erickson, Nathan Wonder and Nancy Landry; four, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward; son, David Paul, her parents and a sister and brother. Funeral services will be, Monday, May 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cooperstown, ND. Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 2:00 till 4:00 in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home and one hour before services in the Church. A Prayer Service will be Sunday at 4:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Ness Cemetery, Cooperstown, ND.
