DAVID D. RAHLF

David Duane Rahlf, 69, Binford, ND went to be with our heavenly father on Sunday, July12, 2015 at the Griggs County Hospital. David was born on December 28, 1945 along with his twin brother Daniel on their family farm near Binford. David was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church rural Binford. David attended Clearfield County School near the family farm. David also attended Binford High School. David enjoyed hunting, playing cards, and going to the casino. He was very involved with the family farm and the cows. David ran a dairy farm for many years with his brothers, Daniel, Timothy and Jerry. He loved when family and friends came to visit. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his best friend, Bear (his dog). David is survived by four sisters; Kay Bear, Glenfield, ND, Dorothy Everson, Binford, ND, Patricia (Reynold) Rickford, Jessie, ND, Alice (Chuck) DeHoff, Binford, ND; six brothers, William (Nikki) Rahlf, Sutton, ND, James Rahlf, Cooperstown, ND, Ronald (Karen) Rahlf, Binford, ND, Jerald, Daniel and Timothy, Binford, ND along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog “BEAR”. David was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Alice (Leininger) Rahlf, sister Marilyn Roth, Chinook, Montana, sister-in-law Judy Rahlf, brothers-in-law, Bob Bear, Harold Roth and Bob Everson, along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10 am at Zion Lutheran Church, Binford, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Quam Plaisted Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour prior to services at Zion Lutheran Church. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm at Quam Plaisted Cushman Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Zion Cemetery, Binford, ND.
