LISA (HOOK) LANDSIEDAL Lisa A. Landsiedel, 50 years, from Underwood, ND died January 27, 2017. She passed away peacefully with family around her at the Cooperstown Medical Center. She fought a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Lisa Alvern Hook was born in Cooperstown, ND on April 30, 1966 to Michael and the late Nancy (Randall) Hook. She grew up in Hannaford, ND. She loved playing basketball and cheer-leading. Lisa graduated from Hannaford High School in 1984. Lisa had married Steve Nelson and into this marriage 3 children were born. Ryan (Valley City), Andrew (Fargo), and Ashley (Underwood). Lisa spent many years living in different parts of North Dakota making many friends along the way. She did lots of different jobs including waitress, physical therapy, and her latest endeavor was a general partnership in a business she owned working with Bobcats and hauling anything and everything. Lisa greatest joy in recent years are her 2 beautiful grand children, Brooklyn and Braxton. These 2 were the love of her life. Her greatest passion was taking care of her yard. She loved to garden and plant flowers. She always kept it looking nice. Lisa is survived by her father, Michael Hook (Hannaford, ND), 3 children Ryan Nelson (Valley City, ND), Andrew Nelson (Fargo, ND), Ashley Nelson, Brooklyn, Braxton, and special friend Michael Erickson (Underwood, ND), 2 sisters, Linda (Rick) Haman (Mohall, ND), and Shanna (Travis) Smith (Jamestown, ND). Numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and lots of “great” friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Hook, 2 Grandmothers, 3 Grandfathers, and 1 uncle. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 till 7:00 pm in the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home in Cooperstown, ND and one hour before services in the Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, ND a funeral services will follow at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Faith Cemetery, rural Hannaford, ND in the spring.
