JULIUS FLIFLET JR.

Julius Fliflet, Jr. Julius Fliflet Jr., 70, Hannaford, ND, was born December 23, 1946 in Hannaford. The son of Julius and Sylvia (Pederson) Fliflet. He grew up on a farm near Hannaford attending school in Dover and graduating from Hannaford High School. He married Ann (Jelsing) Fliflet October 17, 1970 in Hannaford. They lived in Minneapolis for a short time before making their home in Hannaford. Julius Jr. served in the National Guard for 6 years. Over the years he did carpenter work, farmed and drove bulk truck. He enjoyed working on tractors and woodworking. Julius Jr. fought a long battle with diabetes related complications. He chose to come home and spend his last days in the home he loved, surrounded by family and friends. Julius Jr. is survived by his wife Ann Fliflet; one son Brian (Sandra) Fliflet, Dazey, ND; one daughter Christy Fliflet, Valley City, ND; one grandchild Danielle Beach, Valley City, ND; one sister Faye (Everett) Vigesaa, Cooperstown, ND; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one niece. Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 5:00 till 7:00 in the Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, ND, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm in the Church, visitation will continue Monday, June 12, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Faith Cemetery, Hannaford, ND.
