LANORA FERN MCCULLOUGH

LANORA MCCULLOUGH LaNora Fern (Cole) McCullough was born on April 28th, 1934 to Cynthia and Fred Cole, in Hope, ND. She was raised by her Uncle Mike and Aunt Noni Kainz, of Hope. She passed away in Fargo, ND on August 5th. After graduating from Hope High School in 1952, she briefly attended nursing training and UND. In 1954 she married Milton "Mic" McCullough in Hope. They spent most of their years running the grocery store in Hope and for a few years, also owned and operated Hope Lanes & Café. LaNora loved her home town of Hope, she was always the happiest when she was home. LaNora and Mic had 4 sons. One thing she looked forward to every summer was getting together with her Houseboat crew of friends. Many years of good times were had with them. She also loved Christmas and the family always made sure to get together on Christmas. LaNora is survived by her four boys, Kevin, and Pat of Hope, Mike (Lois) of Argusville and Kerry of Fargo; 5-grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Kayla, Kadie Gillett, Jordon Helgeson and 3 great grandchildren.. She is preceded in death by her husband Mic, her parents and all seven of her siblings. Visitation will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm in the Hope American Legion Hall in Hope, ND with a Prayer Service at 7:00, visitation will continue Friday from 12:30 till 1:30 followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 pm in the Hall. Interment will be in the Hope Cemetery.
