CORA EGGERMONT

Cora Eggermont, 91 of Cooperstown, ND passed away September 22, 2017 at the Cooperstown Medical Center Nursing Home, Cooperstown, ND. Cora was born May 22, 1926 to Conrad and Agnes (Lindbo- Rostvedt) Sund at New Rockford, ND. She grew up in the Pickert, ND area. She married Philip Vigesaa March 18, 1945 and lived at Cooperstown. They had one daughter Peggy Carol who was born August 5, 1947. Cora married (2) to Carlos Eggermont June 20, 1969 and lived at Jessie ND. She was also married (3) Benny Bendickson. She is a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church of Jessie, ND where she enjoyed being an organist and a member of the Altar Society. For years she was a member of the Sons of Norway. Her favorite hobby was raising beautiful flowers. She is survived by two grandsons; James (Jeanette) Hogue of Atlanta, GA & Donald Hogue of Jacksonville, Florida; three Great grandchildren: Marlene, Vincent & Timothy Hogue. ; Brothers: Delmer (Norma) Sund Duluth, MN; Roy (Carol) Sund, Annandale, MN & Orville (Phyllis) Sund, Quimby, Iowa. Sisters: Gerd Myers, Hampden, ND & Janice (Dale) Steffen, Cooperstown, ND and several nieces and nephews. Cora was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Philip Vigesaa & Carlos Eggermont, her daughter Peggy Carol , a grandson Kim Paul Hogue; her parents, two brothers and one sister. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
