Connie Rae Rude, 63, Mayville, ND formerly Finley, ND died Friday, July 1, 2022 in the Luther Memorial Home, Mayville, ND. 

Connie Rae Rude was born July 28, 1958 in Ada, MN the daughter of Ray and Junice (Ueland) Rude.  She grew up in Hillsboro, ND.  Junice married Andrew Berg in 1971. Andrew adopted Andy and Connie  and  moved the family Finley, ND.  She  graduated from Finley-Sharon High School in 1976.  She attended North Dakota State University  where she received her BS degree in Child Care.  She worked for Mayville State University for 25 years retiring in the spring of 2018.  She remained in Mayville where she took care of her parents Andrew and Junice Berg.  Connie enjoyed listening to country music.

She is survived by her Parents: Junice and Andrew Berg, Mayville, ND; niece, Ariane (Matt) Stern, Dallas, TX; nephew, Calen (Calah) Rude, San Antonio, TX; four great grandnephews and several cousins.  She was preceded by her brother, Andy and father, Ray.

Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022  from  3:00 pm  to 4:00 in the Finley Lutheran Church, Finley, ND followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm in the church.  Interment will be in the Finley Cemetery, Finley, ND.
