Delores (Dolly) A. (Ramsey) Haugen, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 26 at Eventide Nursing Home in Jamestown, ND due to complications of COVID-19.

Delores was born on April 22, 1936, in McHenry, ND to Alvin and Ruth (Knutson) Ramsey. She attended school in Revere and Helena II in rural Griggs County. She attended Cooperstown High School for three years and graduated from Hannaford High School. She married Robert J. Haugen of Hannaford on January 12, 1955, in Fargo, ND, and lived in the Hannaford area her whole life. Delores worked at Stri-king Lanes Café and cooked at the Hannaford and Cooperstown schools until her retirement.

She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church teaching Sunday School for many years and was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a wonderful cook learning from the best (her mom). She loved all of the holidays and decorating for each one but Christmas was her favorite. She enjoyed attending all the programs and sporting events of her children and grandchildren along with reading the newspaper and clipping out their articles.

Her grandkids and great grandkids were the apple of her eye. She will be deeply missed and will live on through her family.

Delores is survived by sons; Gene Haugen of Jamestown and Ricky Haugen of Hannaford. Daughters; Rebecca (Kevin) Muncy of Hannaford, Linda Cross of Hannaford, Cathy (Roger) Rondestvedt of Hannaford, Diane Haugen of Hannaford and Julie Haugen of Valley City.

Grandkids; Amanda (Dillan Anderson) Haugen, Austin Haugen, Alex Haugen, Autumn Haugen, Ashley Haugen, Jocelyn Haugen, Devin Haugen, Abigayle Brown, Nicholas Muncy, Jennifer (Laudie) Schlader, Christopher (Aubrey) Rondestvedt, Christine (Kolten) Lee and Nicole Cross. Great grandkids: Logan Cross-Flatt, Dominic Haugen, Briar Anderson, Trey & Laken Rondestvedt, Brenton Haugen, Larkin Haugen, Korben Lee and Cassandra & Annabelle Miklas. Siblings: Orville (Connie) Ramsey, Sharon (John) Grover, Dennis (Sue) Ramsey, Peggy (Steve) Roy, Steven Ramsey and many nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Haugen, Parents Alvin and Ruth Ramsey, Father in Law and Mother in Law Melvin and Andina Haugen, Grandson Andrew Miklas, Sister Arlene Himmerich, Brother in Law Ephriam Himmerich and Nephew Jeffery Himmerich

The family would like to give a special THANK YOU to the staff of Eventide Nursing Home for being there everyday for our Dolly. Miss Dolly captured the hearts of many of the staff at Eventide. Our family very much appreciated the kindness shown to her by all of the staff.

Another special THANK YOU to granddaughter Ashley Haugen for all the extra special care and time spent with her at Eventide. Thank you to those that took the time to visit her. She appreciated your thoughtfullness.

Due to covid, restrictions must be followed and masks must be worn. Visitation will be Friday, December 4, 2020, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held at 2:30. Interment will follow at the Faith Lutheran Cemetery.
