GLADYS OSTENSON

Gladys E. Ostenson, 102, Fargo, ND died Thursday, February 19, 2026 in St. Catherines Healthcare North on Broadway in Fargo, ND.

Gladys was born January 9, 1924 in Cooperstown, ND the daughter of Oscar and Ellen (Johnson) Kopperud. She grew up and attended school in Cooperstown, graduation from Cooperstown High School.

She married Donald Ostenson April 28, 1944 in Moorhead, MN. The couple made their home in Cooperstown where Gladys worked in banking, a drugstore and a clothing store. The couple moved to Fargo, ND.

She is survived by 2 sons; Larry (Nancy), Fargo, ND, Blair (Kay), Pembrook, TX; 3 grandsons, Ryan, Denham Springs, LA, Tony and Troy, TX; 2 great grandchildren, Brie and Layne, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sisters, Ann Willis, Edna Wojick, Arlene Sorvick, Vivian Wuflestad; brothers, Ernie, Robert; grandchild, Carrie Ostenson; brothers-and sisters in law.
