KYLE BEDNAR
June 4, 1959 – October 26, 2022
Kyle L. Bednar, 63, of Fargo, ND passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at his home on October 26, 2022 after spending his last days surrounded by family.
Kyle was born to Clarence and Arlene (Urness) Bednar on June 4, 1959 in Valley City, ND. He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Cooperstown, ND.
Kyle married his best friend, Lois (Kirkeby) on October 7, 1978 and together they were blessed with two children, Michael and Erin.
While in Cooperstown, Kyle farmed and was manager of the Farmer’s Elevator. Upon moving to Fargo in 2007, Kyle continued his passion for farming by working at the ND State Seed Department and continued working there until his passing.
Kyle and Lois enjoyed many trips to Hawaii where they also renewed their wedding vows in 2012. Kyle’s love of his wife was very evident as they celebrated all of their special days including their first date anniversary and had weekly date nights at Mexican Village.
Family was the light of Kyle’s life; especially his grandchildren. Kyle was first a “Grandpaw” to his grand-dogs Lily and Zoey and later became a Grandpa to his granddaughters Avery, McKenna, and Madison. Nothing brought him greater joy than these beautiful little girls.
Kyle is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lois, Fargo, ND; children Michael (Nicole) Bednar, Sabin, MN; Erin (Trent) Wagner, Arthur, ND; granddaughters Avery Bednar and McKenna and Madison Wagner, and sister Patti (Mike) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister Zondra, and sister Vicki Iverson.
