OWEN ROBERT VINCENT

Owen Robert Vincent, Hannaford, ND, passed away July 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Valley City, ND Owen was born August 1, 1953 in Sharon, ND to Calvin and Alna (Larson) Vincent of Hannaford. He attended and graduated from Hannaford School in 1971. Out of school he worked for Calvin Vincent Construction. In 1974 he married Naomi (Jacobson) Vincent and they had five children. They moved to Gwinner,ND in 1994 where Owen started working for Raymac of Forman, ND. In 2000, Owen moved back to Cooperstown, ND and worked for Right Away Applicators. He later moved to Hannaford, ND and worked for Dennis Haugen, Sheyenne Tooling and CHS. In April 2018 Owen retired and became ill. In May of 2018, Owen was diagnosed with cancer.  He was always helping friends with various jobs or projects. Owen was always willing to help his son’s with their concrete jobs or any projects they needed his help with. Owen enjoyed spending time with his three life partners, his dogs, Lily, Curly, and T-Bone. He also enjoyed watching old movies and TV shows. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching them play sports or just hanging out.  Owen was always willing to go the extra mile for his children or anyone that needed help. He loved going for drives around the countryside looking at the fields and scenery. He is survived by his four sons and one daughter; Nick Vincent, his children Maddy, Chloe, Macy and Jossy, Tim and Tina Vincent, their children Lyndsey, Kayla and Timmy, their grandchildren, Kaelyn and Brynley, Heather Swanson, her children, Nora and Lennon, Chad Vincent, his child Cole, Paul Vincent, his children, Payton and Porter; one brother, David Vincent; two sisters, Barbara(Jim)Heinze and Becky Vincent-Iverson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 30 at 10:30 am at Faith Lutheran Church, Hannaford, ND.  Visitation one hour prior to service.
