RICKY HAUGEN

Ricky Lynn Haugen, 63, of Hannaford, ND, passed away unexpectedly March 9, 2026, at his home.

Ricky was born on August 3, 1962, to Robert & Delores (Ramsey) Haugen in Valley City, ND. He attended Hannaford School and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Ricky worked for Ramsey Sand & Gravel, Area Farmers. Swenson Construction, Farmers Oil Company, Right-A-Way Applicators and Sheyenne Tooling & Manufacturing where he was currently employed for 20+ years. He was a very dependable, dedicated employee and that was reflected with him being presented with the Sheyenne Tooling & Manufacturing Overall MVP award in 2021 followed by the Assembler MVP twice in years following—awards he was very proud of!

He is survived by 1 brother Gene Haugen, Jamestown; and 5 sisters, Rebecca (Kevin) Muncy, Hannaford, ND; Linda Cross, Hannaford, ND; Cathy (Roger) Rondestvedt, Hannaford, ND; Diane R Haugen, Hannaford, ND; and Julie Haugen, Valley City, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Delores, grandparents Alvin & Ruth Ramsey and Melvin & Andina Haugen and nephew Andrew Miklas.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, March 13, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church-Hannaford with visitation 1 hour before the service.
