SALLY KOFOID

Sally Anne Kofoid, age 58, passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday, September 6^th 2020.

She was born on August 17^th, 1962 to Donald and Mary (McGuire) Barnett in Minot, ND. She grew up in New Rockford, ND and Bottineau, ND. She raised her family in Hope, ND and was a busy homemaker caring for her children.

Sally was a giving and compassionate person who gave much of herself to others and cared deeply for those around her. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, drawing and painting. She had a way of seeing creative artwork in her day to day surroundings and encouraged her grandchildren to express themselves through art and play. Her sense of humor was always sure to spark a smile on your face.

Sally is survived by her four children; Jeri Anne (Shane) Larck of Hope, ND, Christopher Schmidt of Fargo, ND, Brandon (Shika) Schmidt of Nome, ND, and Brock (Peggy) Schmidt of Hope, ND. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Ava, Ian, Kinley, Mia, Chassidy, Conner, Keegan, Cameron, Zaiden, Keirra, Noah, Chloe, Taylyn, Joylyssa, Dreydyn, Jade, and Amber. Siblings Jackie (Mike) Williams of New Rockford, ND, Mike (Sandra) Barnett of Hope, ND, Dawn (Marlan) Engstrom of Minot, ND, Bill Barnett of Canby, MN, Sue (Donavon) Olson of West Fargo, ND, Jenny (Matt) Andel of West Fargo, ND, and Jeremy Barnett of Mandan, ND along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Mary Barnett, sisters Cheryl, Rochelle and Jane.

Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday 1 pm, September 12^th at the American Legion in Hope, ND. Interment to follow for immediate family in New Rockford, ND. COVID-19 Social Distancing Guidelines will be enforced with masks required at the funeral service.
